Every wish is a quiet act of courage.

Every wish is a small act of courage. A whisper of who you could become if you stopped talking yourself out of it. We are taught to keep our wants modest, reasonable, safe. But a life measured only by what is realistic is a cage with the door left open.

So write them down. All of them. The ordinary ones and the impossible ones. The wish you are almost embarrassed to admit. Wishes are not childish — they are the map of a self that has not given up. Name them, and they stop being dreams and start becoming directions.

The world does not owe you your wishes. But it does answer the people who dare to chase them. Every great thing that now exists was once nothing more than someone’s stubborn, unreasonable wish.

The future you long for
begins the moment you dare to want it.
